Description
This project focuses on creating a better experience for individuals in the Palisades area by developing a new compass to aid in fire escape navigation. Stay tuned for how this innovative solution will revolutionize safety measures for the community.
Our team interviewed various individuals affected by the Palisades Fires to understand their various plights, action steps in the fires, and the after effects of the situation. We also went into researching the communities at large and what they use to prepare themselves. We identified the pain points and how we could improve upon the UI, notification system, and possible cases of internet or power outages by creating an app and connected compass respectively.
